Job summary

HonorHealth, Deer Valley - 19829 N 27th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85027, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit-4P2 on the Night shift. The RN must practice by ANA standards and code of ethics, with responsibilities spanning data collection, care planning, medication administration, and patient follow-up.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year RN experience in med-surg or acute care, a current AZ RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience for all Float Positions (Required).
• Other >10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting (Required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (Required). National certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms, helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, administers treatments and medications, and assists with follow-up and rehabilitation.
• The RN establishes and contributes to care plans, administers IVs, monitors patients, and educates patients and families on self-care.
• The RN collaborates with physicians and other clinicians and delegates tasks to licensed staff as appropriate.
• The RN evaluates patient progress, documents care activities, and ensures quality and cost-effective care delivery.
• The RN supports professional development, mentors staff, and stays current with nursing practice standards.

Education

BSN (within 60 months of hire)

Associates or Diploma in Nursing

BSN Preferred
