Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking an experienced RN for the Medical/Surgical Unit-6W-Extended Observation on the night shift. The RN applies nursing standards and ethics to assess, plan, administer medications, operate equipment, and support patient rehabilitation and education.

The role requires 1+ year of med-surg or acute care, Arizona RN license, and BLS certification. BSN preferred; associates or diploma holders may pursue BSN within 60 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of med-surg or acute care nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Arizona RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data and develop a patient care plan.
• Identify expected outcomes and plan individualized care.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Document patient observations and evaluate progress.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
