Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the night shift on the Medical/Surgical Unit-3P1-Trauma Care in Deer Valley, Phoenix. You will assess patients, implement care plans, administer therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance outcomes.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, patient education, and ongoing professional development within a large nonprofit health system in the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing; RN license required or in-hand at start.
• Arizona RN license upon hire; BLS certification required.
• 1 year RN experience; stroke care knowledge is preferred.
• BSN degree preferred within current employment program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care guided by ANA standards and ethics.
• Assess patient data, develop and adjust care plans with family involvement.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and monitor responses and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team for stroke patients.
• Document care, educate patients/families, and support staff training.
• Contribute to a safe, high-quality work environment and patient outcomes.
