Job summary

Upper Valley Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift (7:00pm–7:30am). The RN provides holistic care, advocates for patients and families, and collaborates with an inter-professional team to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold an Ohio RN license, have CPR certification, and preferably possess a BSN with prior hospital RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid Ohio RN license; CPR certification required at hire.
• Hospital RN experience preferred.
• Must multitask with interruptions while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong organization and interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process for a diverse patient caseload in PCU.
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team to plan and implement care.
• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
