Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Leominster is hiring a Registered Nurse to plan, deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process, with 7pm–7am shifts and every other weekend.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, supervise staff, document care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Massachusetts license and BLS required; ACLS preferred; BSN highly preferred; signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delivers medications, performs treatments, therapies and operates equipment per policy.
• Participates in education and staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
