Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and lead nursing activities on a 11pm-7:30am night shift. The role emphasizes applying the nursing process, patient assessment, and discharge planning within a 32-hour weekly schedule.

Required MA RN license; BLS mandatory; BSN preferred. The position offers competitive night differentials and a signing bonus may be available; internal equity will influence the final offer.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
• BLS required; ACLS as applicable depending on unit.
• BSN degree preferred; relevant nursing experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess and reassess patients per standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing care within the unit.
• Delegate tasks in line with competency and job description.
• Document care accurately per policy.
• Educate patient and family as needed.
