Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge. The role requires current Massachusetts nursing licensure, a valid BLS certification, and unit-specific competencies; ACLS is preferred or required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required for every RN unless ACLS current.
• BSN or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others per competency and job description.
