RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Post Intensive Care Unit III at the New Brunswick campus. The unit handles a broad spectrum of medical patients, including ALS and ventilator cases, with 19 beds and bedside monitors.

You will provide specialized nursing care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes. Scheduling includes night shifts, 36 hours per week, and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and nursing license active in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Report safety issues and participate in quality improvement.
• Supervise and direct task delegation to team members.
• Collaborate with other care providers to plan patient care.
• Set priorities and evaluate outcomes with the care team.
