Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team in Colorado. This night-shift role supports high-acuity patients with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios on a 30-bed unit, delivering skilled monitoring and collaborative care in a fast-paced environment.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, using evidence-based practices and working closely with physicians, therapists, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in progressive care, telemetry, or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Deliver direct patient care per physician orders and nursing plan of care.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the health care team.
• Document patient status and responses to treatment.
• Promote evidence-based, high-quality nursing with effective communication.
