Job summary

AdventHealth Parker, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate care to promote healing and safety.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required and BLS certification.
• 1 year of recent relevant nursing experience required.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Must be fluent in English and proficient with Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and safety.
• Document care activities and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance; participate in performance improvement.
• Provide emotional support and supervise delegated care as appropriate.
• Respond to emergent code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
