Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with day shifts. The PCU is a high-acuity unit with 30 beds and a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, offering opportunities for cross-training, certification support, and tuition assistance.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessment, plan of care development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a care plan and discharge plan with input from patient, family and health team.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise the plan as needed with the team.
• Document assessments, plans and evaluations accurately in the patient record.
