Qualifications

• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• BLS and ACLS current per American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS and ACLS cards must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a technically complex environment.
• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and UCHealth.
