Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required; bachelor's preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member within a unit and communicate effectively.
• Fluency in English (reading, speaking, writing).
• Applicant must meet nursing care method and procedure standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed based on patient progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met; follow regulatory requirements.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate nursing care to team members; participate in performance improvement.
