Job summary

UCHealth's Progressive Care Unit at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins is seeking a Night RN for a full‑time, onsite role. You will provide direct patient care in a complex PCU setting, following the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, current Colorado RN license, at least 6 months ICU/PCU RN experience (or UCHealth PCU Fellowship), and BLS/ACLS cards valid through start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of ICU- or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience - or - completion of the UCHealth PCU Fellowship program.
• BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Direct care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a technically complex environment per AACN's Synergy Model and unit standards.
