Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS and ACLS cards must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process with top-of-scope practice.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Prioritizes patient wellness, safety and evidence-based practice.
• Assists in precepting new staff and sustaining clinical competency during orientation.
