Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state.
• Minimum 6 months ICU or PCU RN experience, or completion of the UCHealth PCU Fellowship.
• BLS and ACLS through AHA/ARC; cards in-hand before start; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in PCU using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new hires or students on orientation and practice.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
