Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana seeks a qualified Registered Nurse for the night shift on the Ortho Unit/Med Surg to deliver high‑quality patient care around the clock.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, participate in clinical conferences, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure evidence-based, compassionate treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• A BSN degree must be completed within four years from the RN's hire date unless the RN has a minimum of fifteen years of proven continuous RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or within 60 days of hire; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
