Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT.

The role requires leadership in nursing care, coordination with the health team, and adherence to evidence-based practices across inpatient units. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, document and evaluate outcomes, and oversee LPN/CNA support in a fast-paced orthopedic/metabolic unit.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must obtain BSN within four years of hire unless 15 years of RN experience in acute care.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs— participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
