Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a 24/7 Observation Unit setting. The RN is accountable for practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and collaborates with LPNs and UAPs to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires current Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN within five years. Night shift with a 36-hour weekly schedule, within a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• BSN required within 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families in diverse acute care settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in safety, quality, and process-improvement initiatives as part of a High Reliability Organization.
