Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; other certifications may be preferred.
• Experience in labor and delivery or acute care preferred.
• Ability to assess diverse patient needs and plan discharge.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge needs.
• Formulate and revise a plan of care with patient/family input.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise care by other staff.
• Document care plans, progress, and patient response in the medical record.
