Job summary

Banner Health's Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, hosts a 36-bed postpartum unit delivering compassionate care to mothers and babies. This part-time night shift RN role requires postpartum experience and a commitment to high-quality nursing practice in a magnet-designated hospital.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, utilize electronic medical records, and provide education to families during the postpartum period while working 6:00 PM–6:30 AM with night differential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or compact license).
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care/postpartum is preferred.
• Ability to meet performance and education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge needs and plan care.
• Formulate and revise a realistic, measurable plan of care with the team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate activities, and supervise staff as assigned.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as needed in collaboration with the team.
• Document care plans, interventions, and patient progress in the medical record.
