Job summary

Banner Health’s University Medical Center Phoenix Antepartum unit (3AB-Hosp) is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a full-time NIGHT shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). The unit is part of a Magnet-certified academic medical center with extensive obstetric services, research, and training opportunities.

You will provide direct patient care, plan and coordinate discharge, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred for Banner roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and planning includes discharge planning.
• Formulate and revise a care plan in collaboration with the health team.
• Implement care, coordinate and supervise activities of the care team.
• Evaluate patient responses and progress toward goals.
• Document care and patient responses in the chart.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and unit leadership activities.
• Contribute to nursing quality indicators and outcomes.
• May supervise staff and manage department workflow.
