Job summary

Alameda Center in New Jersey seeks an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor for the 11pm to 7am shift. You will lead the nursing team, coordinate resident care across units, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires clinical expertise, supervisory skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies while maintaining quality standards. Competitive pay at $50-$55 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license current and in good standing with State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is required.
• Previous supervisory experience in healthcare is required.
• Must provide annual TB skin test verification.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Oversight: conduct morning and evening rounds to assess resident conditions and ensure care plans are followed.
• Staff Coordination: verify daily staffing levels, redistribute personnel, and reinforce training.
• Collaboration: work with Charge Nurses on admissions, discharges, transfers, and resident well-being.
• Emergency Response: serve as primary contact for emergencies and changes in resident condition.
• Quality Assurance: review incident reports, participate in resident care committees, support Quality Improvement program.
• Environment & Safety: ensure a safe, sanitary environment and monitor meals for nutritional adequacy and satisfaction.
• Direct Care: perform medication passes and provide direct resident care as needed.
