Job summary

Leisure Chateau in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the 12 AM–8 AM shift, Sunday to Thursday. This role coordinates total resident care, directs nursing units, and ensures adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

The RN Supervisor will lead staffing, supervise nursing staff, perform medication passes, participate in care committees, and uphold a compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing Supervisor must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in the nursing field.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution as needed.
• Collaborates with charge nurses to exchange resident care information.
• Makes rounds to assess residents, with focus on critically ill.
• Ensures care plans are followed for each resident.
• Performs medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Participates in care committees and quality initatives.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing staff.
• Responds to emergencies throughout the shift.
• Maintains safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Keeps building secure during night hours per facility protocol.
• Reviews incident/investigative reports for accuracy.
