Job summary

Alameda Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare in New Jersey is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team and coordinate resident care. You will supervise across units, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and provide professional leadership.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, long-term care experience, and demonstrated supervisory skills. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, staffing oversight, and collaboration with Charge Nurses to maintain

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current and valid RN license with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare environment is required.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Oversight: conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and ensure care plans are followed.
• Staff Coordination: verify daily staffing levels and reinforce training for nursing staff.
• Collaboration: work with Charge Nurses on admissions, discharges, transfers, and resident well-being.
• Emergency Response: serve as primary contact for emergencies.
• Quality Assurance: review incident reports and assist in Quality Improvement programs.
• Environment & Safety: maintain safe, sanitary environment and ensure nutritional adequacy.
• Direct Care: perform medication passes and provide direct resident care as needed.
