Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Unit 1 to provide comprehensive nursing care on a 24/7 schedule. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and directs LPNs and UAPs within policy.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with emphasis on safety and quality in a High Reliability Organization. The position requires an ADN or higher, active RN license (Ohio or multi-state compact), and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Current RN license in Ohio or a multi-state compact state in good standing.
• BLS certification; BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families across care continuum.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments and plan patient care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions with the care team.
