Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge. The role requires MA nursing licensure, BLS, and ongoing competencies, with ACLS preferred for certain units.

This non-exempt position offers 12-hour night shifts with a 24-hour weekly schedule and possible signing bonus eligibility. The nurse will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan and coordinate patient

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN; ACLS and unit-specific certifications may be required or preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care in assigned settings.
• Delegate appropriately to staff according to job descriptions and competencies.
