Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7pm–7:30am night shift in Worcester, MA. The role covers patient care from admission to discharge, using the Nursing Process to assess needs, develop care plans, and coordinate discharge planning.

Minimum MA nursing licensure and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred. A sign-on bonus may be available, and the final offer will reflect experience, skills, and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of nursing as a discipline.
• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification current preferred; unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process to deliver and manage care from admission to discharge for the patient population.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others according to job description and competency level.
