Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to provide patient care from admission to discharge. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using established nursing processes within a dynamic hospital setting.

The role requires MA nursing licensure and current BLS; ACLS is acceptable in lieu of BLS. A BSN is highly preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and teamwork across a large health system.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• ACLS certification current is acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates tasks according to job description and competency.
