Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks an RN for the Night Shift (7pm–7:30am). Typical schedule includes 3rd shift, 12-hour blocks with 24 hours per week. The role delivers care following the Nursing Process, with emphasis on assessment, care planning, and discharge coordination.

Requirements include current MA nursing licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred. A signing bonus may be available; experience and internal equity will influence offers.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification current is preferred, in addition to unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
• Perform patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegate appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
