Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse to join our night shift team in a full-time capacity. You will apply the nursing process, assess patients, and coordinate care from admission to discharge in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications include MA RN licensure, BLS; ACLS and PALS may be required for certain units. BSN preferred. A signing bonus may be available, with compensation based on hours and experience.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS is current; ACLS required for select units within specified timelines.
• BSN is highly preferred.
• ACLS/PALS credentials may be required in certain departments as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans, including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates nursing care in assigned setting.
• Documents patient care according to procedure and maintains quality care.

Education

Massachusetts Nursing licensure

BLS certification

ACLS certification (required for select units)

PALS (where applicable)

BSN preferred
