Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks an experienced RN for the Med Surg Tele unit on a PRN basis, covering night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am with rotating weekends. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families throughout care transitions.

You will follow established nursing models and participate in an environment that values exceptional patient outcomes and ongoing professional development. A TX RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards.
• Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with providers and care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, reporting changes.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up care.
