Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a RN for Med Surg Tele PRN coverage on the night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with nursing standards and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires a current TX RN license or compact license, BLS certification, and a minimum of one year of acute care experience. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule within a leading hospital system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care.
• Provide responsive, compassionate care and address patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
