Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas in Grapevine, TX seeks an RN for Med Surg Tele PRN to cover night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You’ll deliver patient-centered care, follow established nursing models, and advocate for patients and families while aligning with hospital values.

Responsibilities include shift assessments, medication administration, documentation, and patient education. Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate, TX RN license (or compact), BLS, and 1 year

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS from AHA or ARC.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes.
• Administer medications, monitor response, document care in chart.
• Provide responsive, compassionate patient care and education.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds, and side effects.

Education

Associate's Degree acceptable

Bachelor's Degree required within 24 months of hire
