Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical unit on a Per Diem, Night shift basis. The RN II level supports an 18-bed Medical Surgical department, delivering care across the life span in an acute community hospital setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of RN experience, an RN license, and current BLS; BSN preferred. Automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding may apply.

Qualifications

• Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: current RN license in applicable state; BLS required or must obtain within 30 days.
• Experience: at least 1 year of RN experience; automatic advancement after onboarding.
• Certifications may be required per area.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
• Demonstrate RN II competencies and complete onboarding requirements.
