Job summary

MaineHealth's Maine Medical Center – Biddeford is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II for the Cardiac Medical/Surgical Unit. This temporary, night-shift (1900-0700) position spans 13 weeks in a 40-bed unit providing care for acute medical, cardiac, and telemetry patients.

Minimum of 1 year RN experience required with BSN preferred. Licensure as a Registered Nurse and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS must be obtained within 12 months as per policy.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of experience in acute care.
• Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Acute Care unit with nursing assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Demonstrate professional leadership and collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and performance improvement.
