Job summary

MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse II for a per diem night shift position in the Medical Surgical Department. The unit provides care for patients across the life span with stroke, telemetry, orthopedics, medical issues, palliative care and hospice in an acute community hospital setting.

The RN II role requires at least one year of RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of recent RN experience required; automatic advancement from RN I level after onboarding.
• N/A for additional skills or requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
• Care for patients across the life span on an acute medical-surgical unit; participate in care delivery and documentation.
