Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department at Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, ME. This full-time, night-shift position focuses on delivering high quality patient care.

The RN2 vacancy requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within one year; ICU/SCU/ED/PACU experience is desirable, plus fetal monitoring competency for Laboring

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current RN license in state; BLS required; ACLS/PALS within 1 year.
• Experience: One year of RN experience preferred.
• Fetal monitoring: competency required for Laboring Women.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate, and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Provide high-quality patient care on the Night shift in ED.
