Qualifications

• Education Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program; Texas BON license.
• Experience 1 year RN experience; specialty units may require more.
• Licenses and Certifications: Texas license (or compact), BLS; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document nursing assessments and care plans.
• Prioritize interventions and coordinate with health care team.
• Educate patients and families, discharge planning, and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with nursing policies and standards of practice.
• Participate in performance improvement and safety initiatives.
