Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Neuro ICU RN for full-time night shifts in the NSICU, caring for high-acuity neuroscience patients including stroke, neuro-trauma, and post-neurosurgical cases.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of ICU RN experience; NSICU experience is strongly preferred, with BSN preferred and Texas license or NLC eligibility required. Benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license or eligibility through NLC.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement an interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Prioritize interventions based on patient needs and observed changes.
• Educate patients and families; document discharge planning and education.
