Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit in College Station. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced acute-care setting.

This full-time night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours/week) role requires assessing patients, developing care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of starting.
• Experience in acute-care or Medical-Surgical nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during night shifts.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge instructions.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the care team.
