Job summary

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• RN license is required
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient/family needs; create, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients with varying acuity.
• Care for multiple patients while prioritizing assessments, medications, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor patient condition changes and communicate findings to the care team.
• Safely administer medications and treatments per hospital policies and standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments and discharge instructions.
