Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in College Station, Texas. This full-time night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) requires 36 hours per week with self-scheduling to cover a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

As an ED RN, you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and modify care plans, and coordinate with physicians, APPs, and the health care team to ensure timely treatment and safe dispositions for adult and pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license required and active in Texas or able to obtain.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments and create care plans.
• Prioritize needs and coordinate with physicians and team members.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Document care plans, responses, and learning needs.
