Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station, TX is seeking a registered nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced acute-care setting.

This full-time day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week) emphasizes patient safety, high-quality care, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in good standing.
• 0
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create care plans for patients.
• Provide nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients with varying acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments per hospital policies.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EMR accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families, and plan for discharge needs.
