Job summary

Join Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station as a Registered Nurse on our Medical-Surgical unit, providing comprehensive care to adult patients with various medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced setting.

This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours/week) requires strong assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital policies.
• Monitor patient responses and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record.
