Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical unit on a full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week. The role provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced acute-care setting.

• Graduation from an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN license required for practice
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult Medical-Surgical patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatments.
• Document patient care, assessments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
