Atrium Health Union West is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maternity unit (Nursing: Maternity) on a full-time basis. The role requires 7p-7a shifts (36 hours per week) with weekend and holiday requirements, and a strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Minimum RN licensure with BLS; BSN preferred. You will participate in quality initiatives, maintain documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate maternity care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
• BLS certification required; other certifications may be required based on specialty.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and adheres to safety culture.
