Job summary

Atrium Health University City is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maternity unit. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The position offers a pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour and requires a board-certified nursing education program and an active RN license. Responsibilities include applying evidence-based nursing care, participating in governance and quality initiatives, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate electronic health

Qualifications

• RN license active and unrestricted in the state(s) where providing care.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• BSN preferred per job posting; ADN with relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Adhere to safety culture and quality standards.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed within service area.
