Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a registered nurse for the Maternity unit. This full-time role runs from 7pm to 7am and requires strong nursing judgment, compassionate family involvement, and adherence to high safety standards.

Expect to work 36 hours per week, with potential cross-unit float as needed and ongoing professional development. A BSN is preferred, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where client is located.
• BLS certification required; BSN preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation.
• Ensure safety and adhere to ANA ethics and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams and delegate appropriately.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and education.
