Job summary

Kindred Hospital Albuquerque is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, coordinate with physicians and staff, and participate in discharge planning.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and adherence to nursing policies. Applicants should hold an RN license (state or compact) and BCLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in state or compact licensure (Required)
• BCLS certification (Required)
• ACLS preferred
• Postsecondary nursing credential (Required)
• Associate/Bachelor's in Nursing (Preferred)
• 1+ year of nursing experience in LTAC/acute care setting (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintains standard of nursing care and implements hospital policies.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care provided to patients.
• Documents patient assessments and care plans.
• Communicates changes in patient condition with physicians and staff.
• Participates in discharge planning.
